Pizza is high in refined carbs and saturated fat, so take the same approach to eating pizza that you would to eating any unhealthy meal to improve the health impact dramatically: Limit the portion (1 large or 2 small pieces of pizza), eat it with a ton of salad to slow the digestion, and eat it no more than once per week. I usually eat pizza about once per month, pretty much always at my favorite pizzeria in Berkeley called Zachary's, but some of my friends in San Francisco swear by another place I have to try called Little Star.
