Nutrition questions unique to women generally center around issues of amenorrhea, bone density and eating disorders (the female athlete triad) as well as hematocrit (red blood cell count), the reproductive cycle, pregnancy, and nutrition that addresses cancers of the breast, ovary and uterus (including endometrial and cervical). Most of these topics are complex and I cover them in my courses but have not yet had time to write up directives on them.
