Fueling Well = Feeling Well
Tuesday, April 17
12:00 – 1:00 pm
Genentech Auditorium, Mission Bay
Students: you may be knowledgeable about healthy eating choices but are often in situations that stymie you: tired, broke, studying, away from home, stressed, rushed or generally just hungry and desperate! Dr. Clyde Wilson is an academic sports nutritionist with the UCSF Department of Medicine and Sports Medicine Institute in Palo Alto.
He will discuss nutritious planning for hunger, ways to deal with “grabbing lunch” and how to be a more efficient fueling machine. You will receive handouts to post on the frig for ongoing support and inspiration. This lecture will also be simulcast to Parnassus N225. This lecture is geared towards students and is part of the Student Passport to Wellness Program, but all are welcome.
Co-sponsored by the Student Activity Center and Fitness & Recreation
